Founding
Partners: Kevin Schmitz and David Renner
Kevin & David met when they were chef and sous chef respectively
at the White Hart in Salisbury, CT. Independently, they had
moved to the area with their wives with the idea of starting
families and perhaps a business.

Kevin
Schmitz started his career in the food industry in 1974 and has
cooked at notable dining establishments and institutions such as Chillingsworth,
Reise Organization, Bermuda Triangle, Parkers Lighthouse (Stouffers),
and Shearson Lehman Hutton as Executive Sous Chef prior to The White
Hart.

David Renner a graduate of CIA (Culinary Institute of America)
has seen his career develop from working summers at his families Catskill
resort to Stagiare stints at worldwide establishments such as Le Cirque,
The Quilted Giraffe, Les Crayers (France) The Waterside Inn (England),
to Le Regence Restaurant, Hotel Plaza Athenee.
